
Anne Castellina was born in Massachusetts and educated throughout the country. She spent 33 years in the National Park Service as a professional Interpretive Park Ranger, Historian, Supervisor, Instructor, and Superintendent, retiring in 2005. She served at National Parks throughout the United States including DeSoto National Memorial and Gulf Islands National Seashore in FL, Sagamore Hill and Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace in NY, Stephen T. Mather Training Center in WV, Kenai Fjords National Park in AK (Superintendent) and Washington, DC (AK liaison to Congress and the Department of the Interior). During her career she managed diverse staffs involved in preserving, maintaining, and interpreting both natural and cultural resources to millions of annual visitors.
